Would staff consider as a Doubloon purchase (or otherwise) +skill Jewelry? Not anything major, maybe +10 max. But even that would create a lot of cool wiggle room in templates I think.

Earings, rings, necklaces etc.

Make them tinker crafteable using some.of the fire Ruby's, blue diamonds etc? Give a use to those mining gems

Just another alternative idea

I like more craftables.

I would like to see more people on this server using craftable weapons and armor.

I know we just dipped our hands in to the runic pool, but with the current state of exceptional marking and durability on weapons I won't waste a swing from my hammer on another weapon, and I'm debating whether or not to even try armor because of the durability issue.

The power needs to be in the hands of the players.

A ring that would give you +10 meditation, but take 250 fire rubys to create would by fantastic imo.

Okay, thanks for replying. On that note, I do feel that the decision to say it's too "AoS" isn't quite relevant to the conversation as the shard has plenty of AoS elements. I think what others are trying to ask for is a way to have some flexibility with builds that we don't currently have. Right now the jewelry spots have no reason to be filled--it seems like an obvious choice to look at.

It gives a economy item that we don't currently have and gives crafters something to look forward to create and possibly sell. Right now, no crafter can make anything that another crafter can't. By adding something with random elements into crafting you're not only giving them something to do but boosting the economy by giving them some competition. You've also given some of the most unuseful items in the economy a new value as they could be used to create it. (I might add 250 of one gem is a bit steep -- I only have maybe 10 of each from mining for 2 days)
